When you keep saying tomorrow
Romans 12:2
Transformation involves renewing the mind instead of conforming automatically.
When you keep saying tomorrow. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may not control the other person, the timing, the number, the diagnosis, or the outcome. You do control what you agree with and what you bring to Jesus Christ. A habit becomes dangerous when it starts deciding for you. Jesus Christ did not free you so another appetite could quietly become your master. Do the next faithful thing, then stop trying to carry the part that belongs to God.
Which reaction feels automatic here, and what would obedience look like instead?
Jesus, interrupt whatever is automatic in me that does not look like Your truth. Give me a clear mind, a guarded heart, and the courage to do the next faithful thing. Amen.
